Chapter 5-6

Lil j was hiding from the cops but he knew if he stayed in the open he would get caught so he decided to go to an abandoned building. Lil j saw a cop walking towards him, he saw a parked car and he got under it. Lil j waited till the cop went away and then he make a run for the abandoned building. When he got to the building, he opened the door with a kick because it was locked. He smelled something awful, but he still got in. He went up stairs to find a way to go out through the roof. He didn't found any way because all the door were locked. This reminds me of when i was a little kid in Mexico i got to an abandoned house that was locked so i made a hole through the wall and got in and there was a really awful smelled so i got out.

chapter 4-5

Lil J told Rico to search the guy because he was acting a little weird and when Rico was about to search his knee the guy/cop. The cop hit Rico with his shoulder and Lil j pushed him back making him drop the gun. Rico grabbed the gun and said to him to stay down. Lil J handcuffed the cop to a pole and they ran away but Rico went back to take the cop's wallet, then Rico shot 3 times at the cop. Later they ran away through a a yard and there was another cop, Rico shot at him and the cop shot back at them. Lil J felt something hit him but, he  did not notice he has gotten shot in his arm. They got separated Rico ran one direction, and Lil j ran another direction. There were cops everywhere Rico was found and arrested. Lil J was being tracked down, he was thinking that Rico would probably tell the cops about Lil j. These remind me of a movie i watched a couple years ago where 5 people went to a drug deal and the buyer was a cop,then the drug deal went wrong and the cop ended up killed with 3 other guys, 1 was arrested and the other was able to escape.

Chapter 3-4

When Lil J and Rico were going to where the drug deal was going to take place, Rico decided to take a some cocaine out of a bag so he could "sniff it" Lil J got mad because he knew if the buyer found out that he was paying the 100 dollars for a little more than half, that they would get in trouble if the buyer would not buy the product. Rico decided to steel more from the other bags to make it equal and for him to have more. When they got to the place the buyer was acting a little weird.

Chaper 2-3

Kelly is telling lil J if he could change anything of what happened with the drug deal and killing of the cop lil J responds to him that he doesn't know. Kelly turn on the TV and starts watching with lil J what happened that day. Lil J is a little afraid out because he is watching his life on television which he says is weird. Kelly starts looking at the TV when lil J woke up he goes to his mother and his mother tells him that if he could go pick her up to the doctor  he says yes and later she tells him if he could go get her pain pills that were on top of a cabinet, he went to get them and when he got there he open the container and top a couple of them and took the rest of them to his mom. He saw his mom take two pills with water and then putting the rest into the container for later. Lil J got out if his home and went to go met Rico, then they went to an abandon warehouse and they met a tough guy who gave them 3 little bags of cocaine and told them that each one was worth $100, and that if his money was stolen/lost that he would kill lil J and Rico.

Chapter 1-2

The itch starts when things get too heavy for Lil J. Skin popping or stealing pain pills from his mom help him relax. But Lil J's focus is wandering because money is short, and his man Rico knows a way to make some quick cash. It's supposed to be an easy deal, but it isn't so simple when the buyer is an undercover cop. With a gunshot wound to the arm, Rico in jail, and a police officer clinging to life, Lil J is starting to get dope sick. He'd do anything to change the last twenty-four hours, and when he stumbles into an abandoned crack house, it actually might be possible. In the abandon building he got into he is trying to get to the roof but most door are locked, he saw a room that had a TV and there was a chair close to the TV. He thought in the room was living some crazy homeless buy or drug addicts. he got inside the room and heard a voice that is where he met  Kelly.i have a connection to this part of the book because one day i got inside an abandon building and i saw a candle light so i went to see what it was and i saw a homeless man, we started talking and he told me that he was a retired soldier and that he did not had any family nor a place to stay.

Dope Sick

This book is about a drug deal goes south and a cop has been shot. Lil J's on the run. And he's starting to get dope sick. He'd do anything to change the last twenty-four hours, and when he stumbles into an abandoned building, it actually might be possible. I don't have a connection to this book because i have not been in a drug deal or gotten shot, but i have heard stories were drug deals gone bad and there are people shot, wounded or killed.

The Bully - Chapter 7

Mr Mitchell gave Darrell the book. After Darell exited the class room Darrell was saying in his mind that he wanted a solution to his problem but he only got a book to read during thanksgiving break. During the break he started reading the book at first he did not understand why Mr. Mitchell gave him the book but then he realized what Mr Mitchell said about being strong in side and out and he started feeling better but he did not knew how he was going to make his body strong and his mind.

The Bully - Chapter 6-7

Darrell did not feel alone anymore because he had found 1 friend he could sit with in lunch so he was not going to eat alone again. He was tired of being bullied that he wanted to tell someone about what was happening with Tyray, he really needed to talk to someone and the only one he could think of was Mr. Mitchell. He went to Mr. Mitchell`s class room after school. Darrell sat in a desk near Mr. Mitchell  but he did not know what to say to him. Mr. Mitchell knew something was wrong so he started asking Darrell that if he has been having problems, Darrell for some reason could not tell Mr Mitchell what was happening with Tyray. Mr Mitchell told Darrell a story of his life when he was Darrell`s age. He said that he was skinny and short like Darrell, Darrell did not believe him because Mr Mitchell was a tall and strong person. Mr Mitchell said that he was bullied a lot  because of his size, suddenly he started reading a book called Hatchet he noticed that he needed to be strong from the inside as well as the outside. I think the 2 main reasons why some one do not tell they are being bullied is because they have been threatened or because they are ashamed.

The Bully - Chapter 6

Darrel went to the market to buy some oranges that his mother needed. When he was retuning from the market he saw Tyray and Rodney running towards him. Darrell's stomach sank and his chest started to pound. He wanted to drop the oranges and sprint home, But the only thing Darrell did is walk home.When Tyray cut up Darrell he started bothering Darrell and he asked him for money, Darrell replied to him saying that he did not had any money that he spend what he had on oranges. Tyray got out a knife and put it on Darrell`s face and said to him that next time when Tyray asks Darrell for money he better have some to give to Tyray. Tyray before he left staved the orange bag and started crushing them, Darrell was able to save a few oranges.When Tyray was gone Darrell was crying not because he was afraid but because he was mad.He started picking the oranges that were not crushed and put them in the ripped bag. A lady called Mrs Davis. saw him and decided to give him a bag she had. Darrell thanked her and she told him about his grandson Harold, that he didn't had any friends because he was shy. Later Mrs Davis asked Darrell if he could be friends with Harold, Darrell said yes. When he got home he started to think about what happened with Tyray and he laid in the ground and did push ups. The next morning during his lunch period he saw Harold and went up to his table and started talking to him

The Bully - Chapert 4-6

When Darrell exit the market after he went and bought groceries that his mother needed he hurried back home. During the night Darrell could not sleep because he was really nervous because it was going to be his first day at bluford High school. When the day came Darrell didn't want to go to school because he didn't know any body in that school except amberlynn but he didn't know if he was going to see her. Also, because he knew that he was going to sit by him self during lunch. When he got to his first class (English class) he looked around and saw amberlynn, but amberlynn didn't notice that Darrell was in her class or she was afraid she was going to be noticed talking to the new kid in school. A kid that was sitting behind him punched Darrell, when Darrell turned back he saw Tyray, Darrell got scared because he didn't want to be near Tyray. When the school day ended Darrell went to his locker and went home as fast as he could, he didn't want to see Tyray. Finally, when he got home, his mother asked him how was school. Darrell didn't want to lie to his mom that he had a bad day but he also didn't want her to worry every time he goes to school.

The bully - Chapter 1-4

In this part of the book Darrell and his mom got into a bus to go to California. During the road Darrell saw some stuff that made him think about the good times he had with his friends Malik, Reggie, & Mark which made him sad. When the bus arrived to California, Darrell`s uncle Jason was waiting for them to take them to their apartment.When they were going to their new apartment, uncle Jason took Darrell to see his new high school. The next day, Darrell`s mom asked Darrell to go to the market, when Darrell was on to the market he saw a girl and started saying in his mind that she is so beautiful, he wanted to speak to her but he was thinking why would a girl that pretty want to talk to Darrell.The girl who's name is Amberlynn noticed Darrell and started a conversation with him. I think any body who has moved away from where they have lived all their childhood and suddenly moves away its hard because they leave everything behind like good friends that you might not ever see again.

I have a connection to this book, is not something that happened to me but something i have seen happen before. In this book i read about a kid named Darrell who is not very popular and does not have much friends. Darrell gets bullied a lot until he found a friend who could defend him. later in the story darrell moves from Philadelphia to California where he meets a new bully who is worst than the past bully. These story seems familiar because i know a guy who had almost the same experience.
